Nose – Intense and rich, features herbaceous flavors, especially fresh field herbs. The aromatics are harmoniously complemented by floral flavors (acacia, dandelion and white flowers).
Palate – Light, fresh, balanced taste of herbaceous, floral flavors, medium-lasting aftertaste, with an interesting light finish lingering a mildly pleasant bitterness at the end.
Food Pairing – Recommended to pair with Armenian cuisine, flavorful fish dishes, hard cheeses.

Ayvaz Hakobyan was born in 1927 in the city of Yerevan. Seeing as a child how his father gets wine from the grapes he grows in his own yard, he got fascinated with the process and later mastered the craft of winemaking. After graduating from the Yerevan Agrarian University, he became a winemaker and got a job at the Yerevan Brandy Company, where he worked until 1986. Ayvaz had a dream to produce his own wine, which he was unable to realize during his lifetime. Ayvaz’s dream came true many years after his passing thanks to devoted relatives.
