A bold expression of Armenia’s rising wine culture, the ANAMOR 2021 Reserve Dry Red Wine brings together the best of local and international grape varieties—Areni, Haghtanak, and Cabernet Franc—grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of Vayots Dzor and the Ararat Valley.
Aged for six months in new Artsakh oak barrels, this reserve wine harmoniously blends Armenian terroir with refined barrel aging, offering a wine of elegance, structure, and character.
🍷 Tasting Notes
The wine greets the nose with aromas of ripe blackberries, red cherries, and sweet tobacco, layered with hints of cocoa, clove, and vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, it is smooth and medium-bodied, with flavors of black plum, cassis, dried fig, and a touch of spice. The Cabernet Franc adds a leafy freshness and structure, while Areni and Haghtanak contribute vibrant acidity, red fruit brightness, and velvety texture.
The finish is balanced, with soft tannins and lingering notes of black fruit and toasted oak.
